You Gotta See This Guy!

As many of you are aware, I am a huge fan of Apple products, cycling and traveling...A good family friend of mine is too!  The big difference between me and Steve Wilhite is that he is the former VP of Global Marketing for Apple and is an avid cyclist/adventurer that has traveled, worked and lived all around the world.  He is absolutely fascinating.

He will be speaking at The Trulaske College of Business on March 17th--I hope all of you have the opportunity to see his presentation as I have no doubt it will be one of the best all year.

I had the opportunity to catch a glimpse of Steve's itinerary while he's here and it looks like he will also be out 'on the town' that Thursday and has encouraged students to join him...If these plans change, I will be sure to update this blog.

--Rides a black and yellow Trek Bicycle (It's a hunk of junk, but he rode it across the country and refuses to get a new one)

  1. and Steve and his spouse, Michele, have raised two great people: Kiersten, who is becoming an FBI agent, and Eric, who is a world-class extreme skier/guide. In addition to cycling across America with Eric, Steve has run many marathons, including Boston, while simultaneously leading a number of successful marketing campaigns and changing corporate cultures. Steve has stories, and lessons for new MBAs that will be entertaining and inspiring. Way to go Mizzou!
